Starting a ride

• Sign in to your rider account.
• Open Live and give the ride a name.
• Allow precise location and keep the page open.
• Send the private link only to people you trust.

Pausing and ending

Use Pause whenever you do not want to publish a position. Ending a ride closes public access and deletes the last active coordinate.

Important limitations

• The web release tracks reliably while the page remains open.
• RideBeacon is not a navigation app or emergency response service.
• Do not operate your phone while riding.
• Share a ride link only with trusted people.

Connectivity

The app provides a privacy-safe offline screen and retries the latest GPS update when connectivity returns. Live data and authenticated responses are not placed in the offline cache.
